Welcome to the Department of International Relations at the University Medical Center Goettingen. The Department of International Relations provides scientists and students with information and advice on funding opportunities and scholarship programmes, especially within the European Union but also with respect to worldwide funding programmes.

The key activities of the Department are:

• Fundraising for international research projects
• Providing information and giving advice to potential applicants
• Offering assistance during proposal writing, preparing administrative documents, reviewing proposals
• Cost calculations, financial management
• Providing support during contract negotiations
• Administration of the EUROLIFE network
• Preparing fellowship agreements for guest researchers and doctors doing further qualification
• Managing the ERASMUS-Programme for the Faculty of Medicine
• Initiating and fostering international cooperations with Universities worldwide
